Denton ARFF Fire Station No. 9
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The City of Denton’s airport needed an ARFF certified Fire Station to meet requirements for expanding service to large aircraft. As one of the busiest airports in Texas, with increasing traffic after COVID, the safety of the public also made this airport a priority. The design team modeled several options before the stakeholder group chose the final design.
Now that the CMAR selection process is almost completed, the project team remains on target to meet the procurement and start dates planned last year. This facility will be a big step forward for the City of Denton’s airport’s capabilities, as well as enhancing the safety of the public.
