Lewisville Facilities & Fleet Maintenance Building
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The City’s Fleet Maintenance team provides vehicle maintenance to the Fire Department, the Police Department, in addition to hundreds of other City vehicles.
The new facility significantly reduced outsourced repair work and downtime for city vehicles. It also relieved City staff overcrowding at the existing Public Services Center.

UNIQUE PROJECT CHALLENGES
Site grading and potential wetlands issues came with the site.
COVID-19 impacts paused the project after the design concept and budget were approved.
Budget prediction in the the marketplace at the time was very difficult given the subcontractor fears of onsite COVID productivity issues.
