Richardson Public Safety Campus
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This highly functional new Police Department Headquarters facility replaces a very tired PD HQ that was first built in 1958, and added on to every decade since then.
This bond program also delivered a new Fire Station No. 1 and Fire Administration building to replace the existing facility, which was also worn out. The old Fire Station No. 1 had water infiltration and indoor air quality issues as well.
The City remains grateful to the taxpayers who voted to approve the necessary replacement funds. These new facilities bring Richardson’s public safety team into the 21st century at last.
